Deerfield game is on; others postponed

Many of Friday night’s area boys basketball games have been postponed due to the snowfall.

The wiped-out games include Stevenson at Zion-Benton, Warren at Lake Zurich, Round Lake at Vernon Hills and Mundelein at Lake Forest.

Stevenson will play Zion-Benton on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Mundelein and Lake Forest has been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 26.

Meanwhile, Mundelein will be in action on Saturday afternoon (4 p.m.) when the Mustangs take on Hales Franciscan in the Young Shootout.

And, as scheduled, Libertyville will host Carmel on Saturday at 7:30 p.m, while Buffalo Grove will travel to Wheeling on Saturday (6 p.m.)

Deerfield’s game at Maine West tonight is still on. The Warriors will play at Lincoln Park on Saturday (3 p.m.
