American Eskimos like Puff can be great dogs. American Eskimos have varying temperaments; some are independent and others are lap dogs (kind of like many breeds – each dog is an individual).

This little guy is a sweetheart. He thinks he’s a lap dog and just wants to curl up in a warm lap and cuddle.

While somewhat a couch potato, Puff also enjoys long walks and sniffing in the grass. He gets along with other dogs.

Puff is much happier at Save-A-Pet than he was in the kill shelter where he had been left. Dirty and bedraggled, he desperately needed grooming. And he will continue to need regular brushing and visits to a groomer (or someone who knows how to bathe him).

A coat like Puff’s does demand attention, but at the same time it’s irresistible – when you hug him, he feels like a super soft stuffed animal.

Puff is not a young dog, but he is healthy and has many years left to share his love and cuddles with a family.

Although like many wonderful dogs Puff’s background will always remain a mystery, what is obvious is his love of people.

If you think that this little white bundle of fur would fit nicely on your lap, visit him at Save-A-Pet.

Save-A-Pet is committed to saving animals without the killing. They take in animals from many sources and the volunteers work with dogs. While you’re at Save-a-Pet, make a donation if you can. The cats and dogs there will appreciate it.
