The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lincolnshire Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
ALCOHOL
Gnanamurugan Sammandan, 39, of 9029 Columbus Drive, Des Plaines was arrested Feb. 2 at the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Illinois Route 22 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use. He has a March 2 court date in Waukegan.
DRUGS
Adam N. Adamovic, 27, of 316 Emerson, Mount Prospect was arrested Jan. 31 on Milwaukee Avenue near Route 22 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and resisting a peace officer. He allegedly tried to wrestle away from the officers arresting him. At the same stop, Colette M. Azzaro, 22, of 1105 S. Crescent Ave., Park Ridge, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Both have a May 5 court date in Mundelein.
THEFT
Someone stole, then cashed, a person’s checks, which were taken Feb. 2 on the 800 block of Audubon Way.
A Stevenson High School student told police that someone stole her iPod Touch Jan. 30, which she had left in one of the common areas.
