Quinn: Raise dropout age to 18

Gov. Pat Quinn wants to raise to 18 the age at which students can drop out of school in Illinois. It’s 17 now. The governor talked about the proposal Friday on the MSNBC cable TV show “Morning Joe,” The Associated Press reports.
